Vintage Car of the Month

Posted On January 1, 2014

Owner is Bill from Brampton, ON. Bill told us:

“I have a 1973 Barracuda with 340 cu in motor with a 4 speed manual transmission. I bought this car in 1973 from Raceway Motors in Rexdale so I am the original owner.

The car was pulled off the road in 1980 due to a growing family and after I retired in 2009 decided to do a full restoration. The car was stripped down to the bare frame, sand blasted and reworked and some body panels replaced.

The car was repaint to original Lemon Twist with Black strips on the sides. I put the car back together in my garage with some new parts and hardware, new carpets, headliner, seats reupholstered and engine rebuilt.

Can’t wait to drive the car and show it off at car shows next year!”
