“I have always liked a Street Rod, Coupe’s in particular. In January 2012 I began looking for a 1934, that’s the year my dad was born and I like that body style. I came across this beauty one Sunday morning on Kijiji in Bowmanville Ontario! It was love at first sight!
Along with my husband and a fellow car enthusiast, we went to have a look. Wow!
My friend said if I didn’t buy the car he would! She was done up just fine and ready to drive. So in February we brought her home to Dashwood.
I call her a Girl Friendly Car! She’s an automatic with a 350 small block, power steering and power brakes disk front/drum rear. Original steel body and wood frame with glass fenders. Has a working Rumble seat as well and the back window winds down. Dark green metallic pearl is the colour a gem in the sunlight as sometimes it black, sometimes blue, sometimes green!
My car has been featured in a few weddings. A very comfortable riding car and a pleasure to drive, looking forward to many more cruising days ahead!”
