“I always liked the 1957 Ford Thunderbird. One of my first used cars I bought was a 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 in the early 1960’s. But this 1957 TBird is sportier.
Actually I purchased this 1957 Tbird for my wife last November. It was sold, driven and stored in California and later in Arizona since 2011. It is all original body, frame and powertrain. The exterior colour is now Starmist Blue and really suits the Tbird. The original colour is Willow green according to manufacture invoice dated October 10, 1956.
It has the optional 312 Cu in 4 Barrel 245Hp engine with Fordomatic automatic transmission. The fancy spoke wheels are from a later version Tbird, but look good. I may change to the original wheels and disc for auto shows or cruise nights along with the fender skirts.
My wife and I are looking forward to the summer auto cruise nights and shows.
