Customer Service Representative- Clinton Office

We are seeking a Personal Lines – Customer Service Representative to work with our team in Clinton, Ontario immediately. This full-time position fills an opening due to attrition. This position involves interacting with and building relationships with clients while serving their insurance needs. To provide insurance advice, a RIBO license is required. If you do not have a RIBO license, Zehr Insurance will support you by paying the full RIBO tuition and related licensing fees. Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service – build customer relationships by providing positive customer experiences through phone, email, or mail.
• Research and provide our clients with insurance options for their items (such as home, auto, cottage, trailer, vintage car, etc.)
• Cross-selling / referrals
• Initiating remarkets
• Liaison with internal partners to fulfil customer needs

As a Customer Service Representative, you will have

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• RIBO License preferred or the ability to get a RIBO license
• OTL License preferred
• Customer service skills
• Assess client needs
• Interpersonal & Communication skills
• Ability to build relationships with clients to retain and grow portfolio
• Detailed orientated
• Work as a member of a team and independently
• Interest in the insurance industry
• Desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients
